Pultron Composites Ltd is a privately owned manufacturing company which began developing its own pultrusion technology as well as designing and building pultrusion machines in 1982. Founded by Peter and Bronwen Holdsworth, Pultron’s head office and purpose built modern factory in Gisborne, New Zealand operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The company has continued to expand and has an office in Dubai, UAE.

From the outset, Pultron quickly broadened its product range to take advantage of the growing demand by material scientists and engineers for composite structural profiles for specialist applications. Pultron’s ability to develop state-of-the-art composite solutions is achieved through significant investment in research and development of new technologies and materials.

Pultron’s ongoing commitment to research and development is reflected in its composite testing facility, Composite Materials Research (CMR). CMR is an in-house laboratory dedicated to the research and development of resin formulations for high performance composites, with quality assurance systems to ensure that product performance of composite products is at an optimal level. As specialists in thermal and thermo-mechanical analysis of materials, CMR also caters to the needs of the plastics industry.
